VITREA
The glass frontier
Vitrea was meant to be a quiet mining colony. Then the storms came — walls of
shattered glass that scour the plains and leave living crystal in their wake.
The colony company is long gone. Its claims are not. Rival outfits now fight over every
glowing vein, and the crystal keeps growing.
Build your base. Harvest the crystal. Break your rival before the next storm breaks you.
How to play
Your harvester gathers crystal automatically; the refinery turns it into credits.
Deep blue fields are dense veins: far more crystal, slow to regrow. Red storm glass (left where storms pass) is worth double.
Amber deposits are glass cores: right-click one with a harvester to mine it. Heroes, Tech Center heavies and research cost cores.
Superweapons (after a Tech Center): Concord Orbital Uplink, Shardbound Storm Heart, Reclaimer Scrap Hive. They charge for five minutes; select one, press Q and click a target.
Air: build an Airfield (after a Radar) for Gunships, Dropships and Bombers. Only machine guns, rockets, autocannons and Flak Turrets can hit aircraft. Right-click a Dropship with soldiers to board them; Q drops them off.
Walls: click Wall, then drag lines on the map (25 a segment). Gates open for your side and allies; enemies have to break them down.
Credits need storage: the yard, refineries, outposts and Silos. Past 80% full harvesting slows, and it stops when full.
Outpost Trucks and Concord Drill Rigs come from the Heavy Factory: drive one to a field you've explored and press Q to deploy it (Q again packs it up). Shardbound Seed Spires grow crystal; Reclaimer harvesters collect scrap from wrecks (right-click a pile).
Build from the sidebar: power first, then factories. Place buildings on rock near your base.
Click a factory (or use the tabs above the build list) to see the units it makes.
In online games, press Enter to chat with your opponent.
Press ? in a game for the full list of controls.
Drag to select units, right-click to move or attack, Ctrl+right-click to attack-move.
Double-click a unit to select all of that type on screen.
Shift+1–9 saves a group, 1–9 recalls it. X stops. P pauses. + / − change the game speed.
Shift+right-click queues waypoints. E selects your whole army, H jumps home, Space jumps to the last attack.
Select a factory and right-click the ground to set a rally point for its new units.
Sidebar: Shift-click queues five, Ctrl-click keeps a unit in production. Letters on the buttons are hotkeys (Shift for units).
Z sells and C repairs buildings. Hold Alt (or press `) to see every health bar. Shift+F1–F4 bookmarks the camera; F1–F4 jumps back.
Build a Radar Outpost to switch on your minimap.
A Tech Center unlocks your heavy unit and your hero. Select the hero and press Q for its ability.
Units that deal enough damage rank up: Veteran, Elite, Heroic.
Crystal storms build up on contested ground, rage there, then leave a field of valuable red storm glass. Stay out while they rage: they shred infantry.
Destroy every enemy building to win.
